Lagu berjudul Wavin Flag resmi menjadi lagu untuk perhelatan akbar sepak bola, Piala Dunia 2010. K’Naan adalah artis yang lahir di Somalia, seorang artis Canada berbasis hip-hop, dia telah banyak menyuarakan tentang persatuan dan perayaan yang kemudian menghubungkannya dengan lagunya berjudul “Wavin’ Flag” setelah terpilih sebagai lagu resmi Coca-Cola Piala Dunia 2010.

K’Naan telah membuat sebuah versi khusus dari lagu untuk turnamen yang diselenggarakan oleh Afrika Selatan. The remix dari “Wavin ‘Flag” adalah bagian dari kampanye pemasaran Coca-Cola yang terintegrasi secara global “inspired by the joyous dance celebrations familiar to Africa.” Track lagu ini akan digunakan sebagai elemen musik di seluruh kampanye, termasuk sebagai soundtrack untuk semua iklan televisi, selama tur.
